Welcome to Spanda Institute Online studies

After a welcome note from Nina Vukas, Spanda Institute founder, we invite you to join us for a short Sankalpa meditation, to set your personal intention for this course. This part also contains your first class with us - a Grounding Slow Flow to prepare you for the studies ahead.

Applied Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga

This module covers both Anatomy and, in part, Physiology of Musculoskeletal, Nervous and Respiratory systems. It's a broad subject that takes many years to absorb fully. We invite you to be curious and patient - apply what you have learned in your practice, and allow time to fully embody what you have learned.

Beyond Asana

Welcome to the exploration of yogic tools beyond asana. This module is an introduction to kriya, mudra, mantra, pranayama, and meditation.

Spanda Tattva Flow

This is one of the fundamental modules offered in both 200 and 300 hour training. You will learn about The Five Great Elements and the science of Ayurveda and use the tools of Yoga to create organic, nature-inspired practice.

Spanda Chakra Flow

With Chakra Flow, we dive into the subtleties of the chakra system, aiming to demystify it as something purely esoteric. Instead, we approach it as a practical map for understanding the different qualities of our body and mind and how they resonate together.

Prenatal Essentials

This course is an in-depth overview of the Prenatal Yoga foundations. You can expect guidelines for curating classes for each trimester, learn the structure of the Spanda Prenatal Yoga classes, get a detailed insight into the Prenatal Namaskar, and strong foundations in the Anatomy and Physiology of pregnancy, labour, and birth. This course can be counted as CE with Yoga Alliance(18h), and is perfect for those who are not yet ready to commit to a full Prenatal & Postnatal TT.
