The training is divided into modules which are done one by one. You will get access to the next module only upon finishing the previous one. Some modules are shorter and can be completed in a week or a weekend; some might take a month or two, depending on how much time you can allocate to your studies. All the modules will have a quiz and an essay; some will require you to record practising or teaching a sequence. The materials are all pre-recorded so that you can create your study schedule. You can attend a monthly zoom class with one of our teachers, and you will get a mentor with whom you will have 10 hours of one-on-one Q&A and practicum sessions, divided into one or two hour slots, whatever you and your mentor feel is best for you.

After a welcome note from Nina Vukas, Spanda Institute founder, we invite you to join us for a short Sankalpa meditation, to set your personal intention for this course. This part also contains your first class with us - a Grounding Slow Flow to prepare you for the studies ahead.
This module covers both Anatomy and, in part, Physiology of Musculoskeletal, Nervous and Respiratory systems. It's a broad subject that takes many years to absorb fully. We invite you to be curious and patient - apply what you have learned in your practice, and allow time to fully embody what you have learned.
Spanda Method module covers a wide range of topics; The Five Principles, Five Building Blocks, intelligent sequencing of each part of the practice, themes, alignment etc.
In addition to the theory, you will get to practice more in this module as well as practice teaching each part and the full class at the end.
This is one of the fundamental modules offered in both 200 and 300 hour training. You will learn about The Five Great Elements and the science of Ayurveda and use the tools of Yoga to create organic, nature-inspired practice.
In this module, you will learn how to sequence classes for beginners. We offer two levels for beginners - level 1 and level 2.
You don't need to record any classes for this part, but you will need to teach level 1 or level 2 class to someone and send us feedback (more will be explained at the end of this module).
